Del.icio.us

I'm not sure that I think del.icio.us is all that great. I guess I prefer going out and finding my own websites rather than using someone elses. Plus, there's not that many sites that I visit that I don't know the sites offhand. I did find this site as I was looking around del.icio.us and thought if I ever got a free moment I would look at it more in depth.

Rollyoyoyoyoyo

I'm not so sure I understand this Rollyo thing. I get that by just accessing your Rollyo account you have access to frequently frequented websites. But, when you click on a particular website you added, it gives you a bunch of crap. I thought it would take you to the website itself, but all I saw was links to stories within that website. And I was very surprised when I could access RCPL Board minutes, and some of our policies and procedures. Should the public have access to those??? Board minutes maybe, but procedures? We set up a Bloglines account because it was suppose to cut out all the advertisements and junk to give you just the information you want, but now we set up this account that adds that stuff back in? I'm confused, so if someone could explain this to me, I would be very appreciative. Thank you in advance.

LibraryThing

Here's my link to my acct. I've always wanted a way to keep track of the books I've read so that I don't waste time reading the same ones (unless I want to, of course!!). This should be a good way to do it.

Image Generators

After some playing around with different generators, I picked this one that does some pretty cool stuff to pictures. I really wanted to add the cocktail generator, but didn't think it was too appropriate (but talk to me if you're interested!!!!) Take one of your favorite pictures and put it into this generator and see what happens. These generators are kinda neat so I may have to play around some more with them whenever I have some time.

RSS Feeds

The latest assignment is RSS feeds. These are great things so that you can keep up on what's important to you without a bunch of crap around it. As you can see, 2 of my favorite things are sports and travel (especially when it comes to Frontier Airlines, I LOVE their spokesanimals!!!)

I'm really not into this today so I guess that's it.

It's Not Easy Being Green

Here we are, the Kermits. This is the bestest team ever. We like to work together to accomplish our goals on the Library 2.0 project. This is our project on technology. We used my new phone (RAZR) which is also a camera with capabilities to text/pix message. Marjorie helped with the photo. I then emailed the picture to myself and viola, here it is!!! Aren't we the cutest green things you've seen!!! lol I'm still looking at all the capabilities my phone has, I really like the IPOD in it too. I'm so technologically advanced it scares me!!! Here's a link to a site about my phone, check it out. http://http://www.motorola.com/consumer/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=706eab651780b010VgnVCM1000008206b00aRCRD&show=productHome

Update on NCAA tourney

Unfortunately my Salukis were beaten out of the tourney. I now must cheer for the Georgetown Hoyas. Out of the Final 4 teams left, they are the lesser of evils. So, needless to say, I am not very excited about the Final 4, not that I won't watch, there will be some great BB played.

GO HOYAS!!!
