Learning Express Library
The Career Course: Creating a Great Resume is an incredible resource, easy to follow, step by step instructions for anyone no matter how long they have been out of the job market. The ability to have one resource to compile your information, put it into the correct format, save it and then print it out can be invaluable to people looking for a new job. Now instead of going to some random Google found resume site, I can steer people towards Learning Express Library where they can actually get some insight into the resume and what its true objective is.

You hit the nail on the head, Crazy Kat! Learning Express offers thoughtful participation rather than just filling in a form. Thanks for your comments and for helping your patrons with this!
Hi Crazy Kat! That's one of the things I really liked too on the Learning Express Library. I found that Resume information very informative for anyone needing to build a resume. And the fact that it's in the same place as all the different tests is great so it's easy to remember where we saw it. I was also amazed at all the different tests that were available for patrons to use on this resource.
I agree. We often have patrons needing guidance with resumes and cover letters. I had just been providing them a book, getting advice from google-found sites, and helping them choose a micro-soft resume template. Now, I feel better equipped to help job-seekers.
